Hier gibt es jetzt noch weitere Möglichkeiten gegen die kommenden drei Hinrichtungen eins ist schon heute von NCADP (National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty)
Here there are further opportunities against the 1st of Three Scheduled Executions of 2015 one is today:
This week the states of Georgia, Florida and Oklahoma are set to go forward with the first executions of 2015 despite mounting concerns with the death penalty following last year’s botched executions and exonerations.
Tomorrow, January 13th, Georgia is scheduled to execute Andrew Brannan, a decorated combat veteran, with no prior criminal record, who suffers from PTSD due to his service in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma and Florida are preparing for executions on Thursday, January 15th, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
Martin Luther King Jr. said of capital punishment: “I do not think that God approves of the death penalty for any crime, rape and murder included. Capital punishment is against the better judgment of modern criminology and above all, against the highest expression of love in the nature of God.”
Stand with the NCADP to tell these governors that Americans won’t sit by and watch as our government executes disabled veterans and defiles MLK’s memory by perpetuating state-sponsored violence:
We need your help!
Call these governors and ask them to halt all executions in their states!
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal: 404-656-1776
Florida Governor Rick Scott: 850-488-7146
Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin: 405-521-2342
- Attend a vigil. If you live in one of these states come out to a vigil and show your support!
