How to write an essay - Guide
Essay assignments are given to test knowledge on specific topics. You can be reasonably sure that the assignments for the exam will ask about a relatively central topic within the course.
The purpose of the essay paper we present on this page is to give you an idea of how to answer different assignments, and how the examiner thinks when such assignments are considered. The best training is still to write assignments yourself! But also don't forget about an option to order an essay online cheap.
How do I answer a question?
Focus. You only have 2-4 pages available for each topic, so go straight to the point!
Theme. First note what the question asks for, and answer it (and nothing else). If we ask about "characteristics of depressive disorders", it is depression we are asking about, not other disorders. This does not prevent you from pulling in other fabric to show difference or similarity, but be a little reluctant with this when space is so limited.
Precise. If you are unsure of something in the assignment text, specify how you understand it.
Refine. Most themes are so comprehensive that you can not include everything. Therefore, you can advantageously focus on something within the topic, while something else then comes in the background. Tell us when you make such choices!
Readability. Use paragraphs and headings to make the text more readable. One main thought per paragraph! And write clearly!
